The JSBA is an all-volunteer, grassroots block association. Your contributions help us care for our street trees through a contract with Bartlett Tree Service, paying The Horticultural Society of NY (The Hort) to plant and maintain the 'triangle' at the intersection of Jane, W. 4th, and 8th Avenues, purchasing and planting tulips that surround the Jane Street Garden and upkeep of the West Street Garden between Jane and Horatio. Your membership also supports our work with local officials to address neighborhood concerns, including safety, cleanliness, and late-night noise.

We kindly ask for a minimum contribution of $25.00 via the donate link immediately below, or via check to the address below.

If you would like to contribute specifically to the West Street Garden, please use the second link

Members have voting rights at the Annual Meeting if they live or maintain a business on Jane Street or any of its connecting streets and avenues between 12th Street and Horatio. The connecting streets are West St., Washington St., Greenwich St., Hudson St., 8th Ave., West 4th St., and Greenwich Ave.

The Annual Meeting for 2021 is Saturday, October 30 at our annual bulb planting outside the Jane Street Garden at 8th Avenue. Hours are from 11 am to roughly 12:30 pm, or whenever all the bulbs are in the ground.

Membership is open to everyone
